Violin and piano teacher Tatiana Kostour is accepting new students in Victoria, British Columbia, Royal Oak, Saanich areas.
Tatiana Kostour is a highly educated music instructor. In 1999 she graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University’s three year music program where she studied violin with Jerzy Kaplanek and Piotr Buchek, earning a Diploma in Performance.
In 1992 Tatiana graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine, where she studied violin for five years with Igor Andrievsky, Nina Minko and Pavel Makarenko. She received the following qualifications: Artist of Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble, Music Education. This allowed Tatiana to teach in the Music Colleges in Ukraine.
In 1985, Tatiana Kostour received her Diploma in Early Child’s Music Education (Grade 1 to Grade 8) and as an Artist of Orchestra from Chernivtsy Music College in the Ukraine. Tatiana studied with Oleg Pavlov, Head of the String Department in the college, for four years. Prior to that, she spent seven years in the Children’s Music School in the West of Ukraine in Sniatyn.
